Saldio started as a prototype on a laptop. The trigger was a routine many Swiss SMEs know: quotes in one program, invoices in a second, bank statements in a third and the books in a fourth. Every switch means retyping, reconciling, asking around.
So the idea behind Saldio is simple: one continuous flow from quote to balance, with QR bill, CAMT bank reconciliation and Swiss VAT built in. Developed and hosted in Switzerland, at a price a one-person business can afford.
QR bill, CAMT.053 bank reconciliation, VAT form 100 and eVAT per eCH-0217 are not add-ons but the default – nothing to retrofit.
Quote, order, invoice, payment and posting stay linked. Every figure in every report leads back to its document, every change is in the audit log – retained per Swiss GeBüV rules.
